Tia Calvo grew up without a television, giving her way too much time to be creative, and as a result began writing stories as soon as she could hold a pencil. As she embarked on a life of solo female travel traversing around the world chasing waves, her love of storytelling continued as she expanded into different mediums of creation. She completed her bachelor's degree in Media and Communications specializing in Screen Production in 2013 at her home town in Western Australia, and is currently working as a Creative Services Director in broadcasting. Her favorite pieces of work have been about inspiring women in action sports as she believes in the strength and nurturing of positive and empowering female voice!
